Donna Faughn was born and raised in Metropolis, Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University and obtained a degree in Communication in 1970. In that same year she married Jim Faughn and they have been married for 56 years. Jim is a retired pulpit minister, but continues to serve as one of the elders for the Central church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky.
Jim and Donna have two children, Amber Ray and Adam Faughn. Amber is married to Mark Ray who preaches for the Benton, Kentucky church of Christ. Their son, Adam is married to Leah (Moon) and serves as the pulpit minister and one of the elders for the Central church of Christ in Paducah, KY. Jim and Donna have also been blessed with five wonderful grandchildren – Luke, Daniel, and Lyssabeth Tatum and Mary Carol and Turner Faughn.
Donna is a former Speech and English teacher and taught for years on the high school and junior college level. She is a very active elder’s wife who enjoys teaching, traveling, reading, and decorating their home.
