Elvis Galbreath has been preaching and working with the Sunrise church of Christ in Parkersburg, West Virginia since May, 2009. Before this, he worked for two years with the Barlow-Vincent congregation, Vincent, Ohio and three years with the Pinecastle congregation, Orlando, Florida. He has preached full-time and worked with youth for 28 years. He has spent some time over the years working with and helping smaller churches with growth. He is a 2007 graduate of the Florida School of Preaching. He also received formal education from Heritage Christian University and his master’s in biblical studies from Bear Valley Bible Institute. He went on five mission trips to Jamaica, worked with Central Florida Bible Camp and Ohio Valley Christian Youth Camp for a total of 30 years. He has spoken at several youth events, the Connect Conference, and Polishing the Pulpit. He and his wife, Anne, have two adult sons, Benjamin and Zachary. Ben is a full time minister in Sparta, TN and Zach is a High School Science teacher in Huntsville, Alabama and a fill-in preacher.
