Epifanio Carranza III was born in the Houston, Texas area. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for seventeen years, and they are blessed with three sons: Nicholai, Kalel, and Liam Carranza.
Epifanio began preaching in 2019 and has continued to devote himself to the work of ministry, teaching, and evangelism. He is a 2022 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and began full-time local work shortly after graduation. He currently serves as the Youth and Family Minister at the East Ridge church of Christ in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he works with young people, families, and the congregation in teaching, preaching, and spiritual development.
Epifanio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Amridge University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Old Testament Studies from Amridge University. In addition to his local work, he has spoken in multiple lectureships and has been a regular guest on GBN programs, including If You Mark in Your Bibles and The Authentic Christian Podcast. He also serves as the co-host of GBN’s program, Unblinded.
His work reflects a deep love for Scripture, a commitment to sound doctrine, and a desire to help Christians grow in faith, knowledge, and faithful service to God.
