Dr. Miller holds multiple degrees in the physical sciences, including an earned Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Ph.D. in Bio-Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, with emphases in Thermodynamics, Bio-Thermal Science, Bio-transport Phenomena, and Navigation and Control of Biological Systems. He has published research internationally in peer-reviewed, technical science journals, and is an active member of several science societies. While at Auburn University, he also instructed courses in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer, as well as Statics and Dynamics. He has participated in several Creation geologic expeditions with leading Creation geologists studying seismites, dinosaur fossil beds, and the Grand Canyon, and is currently studying hypogene speleogenesis in North American caves. He also instructs Flood courses and leads Flood related tours annually in Arizona and Kentucky.
Jeff serves at Apologetics Press as the Director of the Creation Research Program, the associate editor of the Christian evidences journal, Reason & Revelation, and an adjunct instructor for Freed-Hardeman University, teach a physical science course on the biblical Flood. Dr. Miller is the author of several books, including Science vs. Evolution, Flooded, In the Way He Should Go, Ancient Marriage in a Modern World, and Dating without Detonating. He’s a co-author of the Defending the Faith Study Bible. He’s married to Julie and has five children.
