About me
Joey and his wife, Pamela, are native Texans, having grown up in Deep East Texas.
They have been married for 36 years and have been blessed with three children and
two grandchildren.
Joey served in the United States Air Force for 12 years with a background in law
enforcement and information technology. He graduated from the Memphis School of
Preaching in 2004 and earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Southern Christian
University. He holds master’s degrees in education, with concentrations in both
Guidance and Counseling, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Joey is a Licensed
Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) and is working toward full licensure (LPC).
Joey is a contract trauma therapist with the Irving Police Department Family Advocacy
Center.
Joey and Pamela have worked with their church family at Roanoke since 2011.
