About me
Mark Weaver graduated from the West Virginia School of Preaching
in 2001. He began his preaching career there, presenting lessons all but
two Sundays during this intensive two-year training program. Since then,
he has done local work in Vermilion, OH, for thirteen years and Clarkson,
KY, for eight years. In addition to his normal local work, he has spoken and
taught in PA, OH, WV, DE, MN, VA, WI, GA, AZ, KY, VT, NY, AL, TN, LA,
MO, and Ukraine. While in Kentucky, he did a weekly radio program, taught
Bible studies and conducted worship in the local prison, and also
functioned as the chaplain there. He and his wife, Dawn, are high school
sweethearts and have been married for 34 years. Dawn is a homemaker,
and assists Mark in his work for the Kingdom. She has spoken and taught
for ladies' days, women's retreats, and homeschool events. They have
five children, all of whom were educated at home.
Mark is the principal Evangelist with Crisis Evangelism, an outreach
ministry of the East Huntsville church of Christ. The mission of Crisis
Evangelism is to assist local Congregations of the Lord’s Church in
