Miranda is originally from Lewisburg, TN, and grew up attending the Church Street church of Christ, where she met her husband, Justin, in 2005. He served as the youth and family minister at Church St and then at the Karns congregation in Knoxville. In 2022 they returned to middle Tennessee for Justin to become the preaching minister at the Walter Hill congregation in Murfreesboro. Miranda has taught English at the middle school, high school and college levels. Now she is a full time homeschool mom to their two sons, Caden and Cameron, and she serves as an English tutor for their local Classical Conversations homeschool community. The Mortons love all things sports! They enjoy spending time together playing outside, reading and going to Tennessee games. Right now, you will find them at the baseball field most evenings, as both Caden and Cameron are playing Little League. Miranda’s writings have been published in Kaio magazine, and she also served as an instructor for the Ladies’ Bible program at the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville. Miranda loves teaching Bible classes, speaking at Ladies’ events and serving her church family wherever there is a need. Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6.
