About me
Brother Robert Young Sr. was born and raised in NYC and obeyed the Gospel on March
26, 1995 at the Long Island Church of Christ where he has served the majority of his life
as a Christian. He has been married for 26 years to his lovely wife Rebecca (Aponte)
Young. They have three children, Leah (25), Hannah (24), and Robert (22).
He has worked in the NYC Department of Education for over 25 years working as a
Teacher and Administrator at all levels Pre-k to 12th grade.
Over his years as a disciple of Christ he has served as a Campus Minister, City Minister
and Family Minister.
As an Elder he helps in the administration and logistics of those involved with children
and family ministries at the LICOC.
Rob has a passion for preaching and teaching the Gospel and has enjoyed speaking in
many states around the country and in Puerto Rico.
