Shelley Hazel is married to Westley, who preaches for the Forrest Park church of Christ. They have two grown children, Evie and Deacon, and two much-loved cats. Shelley has enjoyed being both a stay-at-home mom and a middle school English teacher and is currently taking a break from the classroom to spend more time with family and church. She enjoys walking outdoors, reading, and puzzles. For more than 25 years, she has also loved teaching ladies’ Bible classes.
